German by birth, I managed to get to a near-native level in English, making it the primary language I now use in my personal and professional life. I’m extremely passionate about languages and different cultures – I now speak English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, and Japanese at various degrees. I’ve lived in 7 countries over the past 15 years`and am a curious digital nomad who divides her time between her home at the Lake Constanze in southern Germany close to the beautiful alps and the world.

Born in Germany, I went to a bilingual high school (English/German). I hold a degree in International Business Management from a university in the Netherlands but have been teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) since 2015. I hold a TESOL certification (Teaching English as a Second Language) which I received in 2017. Over the years, I’ve taught students of various age ranges, backgrounds, and levels in Japan, Canada, Germany as well as online. I’m happy to teach groups or individuals. I have also been teaching German since 2016 and beginner’s French since 2021.

Previous students have described me as a highly experienced, motivational, enthusiastic and skilled teacher who is able to adapt a lesson exactly according to a student’s need. As a language learner who has learned 7 foreign languages, I am extremely familiar with the process and challenges of learning foreign languages and enjoy accompanying the students on their journey.

What’s most important to me is that a student has enough time to express themselves. I will make sure you feel comfortable and welcome in my class and get enough practice time for the language during the lesson.
