I studied English Language and Literature (M.A.) to gain more understanding and knowledge about syntax, linguistics, literature and culture. I studied coaching and counselling to become skilful at communication in context. From my personal experience as a teacher, coach and trainer I combined all the knowledge and expertise into a hands-on approach to assist you in gaining more trust and confidence in English communication skills. Stating the obvious, I learned from feedback, practical training and face-to-face interaction with the numerous people I taught, coached and trained. Without them my talents would be virtually non-existent.

I studied English at college and on site in Britain. I started as a secondary school teacher followed by 20 years as a trainer of English in the Royal Netherlands Air Force and the Royal Netherlands Army. The practical hands-on approach appealed to me very much. Since 2007 I have worked as a freelance trainer for many companies and government agencies and authorities.
