με λένε Ιφιγένεια Γεωργιάδου και δουλεύω σε ένα σχολείο ελληνικών που το λένε ΚΕΝΤΡΟ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΟΥ ΠΟΛΙΤΙΣΜΟΥ. Είναι το δικό μου σχολείο στη Σαντορίνη και στην Αθήνα. Μου αρέσει πολύ να κάνω μαθήματα, να διαβάζω και να τραγουδάω ή να χορεύω. Διδάσκω ελληνικά σε ανθρώπους από άλλους πολιτισμούς για περισσότερο από 30 χρόνια 🙂 Μιλάω αγγλικά και γαλλικά και καταλαβαίνω και άλλες γλώσσες, γιατί ξέρω αρχαία ελληνικά και λατινικά.

Hi there,
My name is Ifigenia Georgiadou and I work in a school of Greek as a foreign language named HELLENIC CULTURE CENTRE. It is my own school in Santorini island and in Athens. I like very much to teach, to read and to sing and dance. I teach Greek to people from other cultures for more than 30 years now 🙂 I speak English and French and I can understand other languages too, as I know ancient Greek and Latin.

Je m’appelle Ifigenia Georgiadou et je travaille dans une école de grec langue étrangère nommée HELLENIC CULTURE CENTER. C’est ma propre école sur l’île de Santorin et à Athènes. J’aime beaucoup enseigner, lire et chanter et danser. J’enseigne le grec à des gens d’autres cultures depuis plus de 30 ans maintenant 🙂 Je parle anglais et français et je peux comprendre d’autres langues aussi, car je connais le grec ancien et le latin.

I studied at the University of Athens, Faculty of Philosophy, and I have been working for many years as a teacher of Greek as a foreign language to adults. I have an MA on Education and Human Rights from the University of Athens and the University of London (joint degree) and I am a human rights activist with Amnesty International and other NGOs in Greece.

I am also a teacher trainer and a writer. I am now working on a series of textbooks, the KALEIDOSCOPIO, to teach Greek to non-native speakers.
I have long experience in teaching translators and interpreters from the EU Institutions, which is why I registered here.

I am a member of the Board of the ICC International Language Association, which is a partner in the CATAPULT project, a project that works on teaching languages for specific purposes.

I organise face to face courses every summer since 1995, and now, since 2014 I live and teach on Santorini Island. I am waiting for you to join my classes!
